Show Description
For some reason MC Hammer is discussed and Steve names his feature “Hip Hop Hurray”, basically where he plays a hip hop track. Karl and Steve discuss the mobile discos they had in their youth, Karl explains how he came up with the name Pilkie’s Makin Music.

They have tickets to give away this week for something called The K-Fest, the prize is ridiculed by Steve and Ricky but they are surprised by the response they get.

Ricky regrets telling some very embarrassing stories including the time he used to piss in the sink. Karl once had a pet magpie and Ricky once killed a fish with an arrow.

Ricky asks listeners to call in or e-mail trivia questions, unfortunately Karl will be in charge of picking and asking the question, obviously the whole thing falls apart. Jonathan Ross pops in half way through the quiz and then pops out.

Steve seems ungrateful at the £25 voucher given to him by XFM which upsets Karl who receives £150. They call the guy who sent in the best question and proceed to take the piss out of him.

The play the very touching “Don’t Cry It’s Xmas” by Ricky Gervais and we receive the shocking news that there will be no more of Ricky’s brilliant film reviews.

I've heard of Nile and Behemoth, but couldn't tell you any of their song titles or anything. That was funny though :-D haha.

Nile puts on a great show. I normally agree with Ricky, but he's way off on those guys. Behemoth is awesome too.

Karl is right. Muse Rock. Radiohead rock aswell. I love Steve but he knows nothing about music.

I believe Lost Prophets are Welsh but I cant be sure.

I've never liked any music they have ever played on their show, but so what? the show itself is still great stuff!
