Karl finds a cure for cancer in a packet of biscuits, Steve had an unfortunate encounter with Richard Wilson at an awards show. Karl explains his lack of education is down to frequent caravan holidays to Wales.

Ricky shows off his interview skills with Steve and reveals he’s been invited onto the TV show “Room 101”. One of his pet hates is people who are annoying, hmmm. Steve is annoyed by a recent visit to the cinema.

Pop Idol is discussed, they ponder whether Will Young or Gareth Gates will win, remember them? They also reveal China has a terrifying weapon.

Karl scores a goal playing football with some help from a bee. Some people think Steve is Mackenzie Crook from “The Office”, Ricky points out the obvious differences. Steve encourages listeners to use a simple test before naming their band.

It’s a better day to die according to Karl and he reveals his strange opinions on gays for the first time. “White Van Karl” is introduced as a new feature.
